The Costa Blanca is situated on the east coast of Spain and is part of the Communidad Valencia. Despite the many white sand beaches, the Costa Blanca is named at the white/pink flowering almond trees. The climate in summer and winter is very pleasant with an average temperature of 18 degrees.

The inland of the Costa Blanca is characterized by the beautiful landscapes full of contrasts between valleys and mountainous areas.

Within an half hours drive from the coast, you find yourself in a totally different Spain. On the 'campo' you can quietly enjoy the typical Spanish villages with all its customs and traditions and of course its beautiful nature. The villages are surrounded by vineyards, olive and almondtrees, which provide the valley a pink glow in February. A great view with the mountains in the background. Every season has its own color and gives the valley another appearance.

Partly because of the Catholic faith many festivals, processions, fairs and medieval markets are organized that are worthwhile to experience.
